We are running a pilot of American football skills for Primary age children at Bingham community centre. Starpic is a charity that runs various kids / youth groups in the East side of Edinburgh. Would it be possible to send an email from the School with information and poster attached about the pilot. There is no charge for this activity as it’s volunteers and the charity has supplied all the equipment.

“American football skills a chance to have fun learning the basics of throwing, catching, running and kicking the football 🏈 this is outdoor on grass please bring appropriate footwear.

We use junior size footballs for small hands and do training drills to develop skills.

The idea of this pilot is to give kids something different with a plan to move on to flag football not full contact at this stage”.

It’s Summer Fair time at Towerbank!

7th June, 2-4pm (quiet opening from 1.30pm), The Parent Group invites one and all to support our community by coming along to the Summer Fair.

We’ve got the usual Fair activities of face-painting, home-baking / refreshment, games, tombola, and pre-loved uniform sale and we’ve got some exciting new (and returning activities) as well. We are delighted to welcome the Towerbank Samba Band who will be performing 2-2.30pm and we are also hosting a blanket sale for those who want to have a clear out and make some Summer spending money in the process.
