Playspace

Towerbank Playspace consists of a small group of volunteers who are working hard to try and make the playground more fun for all our kids. The playground has been transformed in recent years with introduction of

• traversing wall;
• new bike/scooter racks;
• the redevelopment of the middle circle;
• the introduction of loose parts play;
• painting of the shelter;
• the sensory garden;
• the running track;
• the playpod;
• football goals;
• basketball nets;
• line markings for sports;

The playspace group continue to develop and maintain the playground. From watering and planting to running a gardening club, painting areas to sourcing loose parts , generating new ideas and sourcing funding the playspace group are always on the look out for volunteers. Ideas and feedback from any of the pupils, parents or staff are always welcome.
