Fund Raising

Fundraising is a big part of the work of the TPC. Many of you will be aware of the work being done to create a new library at Towerbank and a lot of the money we raise will help establish this great new resource. But there are many other activities and projects funded through the TPC – from Book Festival trips to football kits; P5 Scottish Opera workshop to running club high vis vests, Lyceum theatre trip to the all school ceilidh band, helping towards the Mussifini (Tanzania) exchange to playground upgrades. The money we raise helps provide trips and resources for every child at Towerbank.

There are a number of regular fundraising activities, such as Christmas fairs and bake sales, Halloween and summer discos, school uniform and Christmas card sales well as more ad hoc events like the recent ceilidh. Many of those activities are organized by well-established teams. However, we are always looking for more ideas and activities which could help raise funds.
