Clubs

There are a wide range of clubs and activities available at the school. These are organised by parents, the school, active schools and outside private organisations. If your club runs in the school and you would like to have its details added here please email towerbankparentcouncil@gmail.com. You can also fill in our contact form here.

Towerbank Junior Choir

Towerbank Junior Choir is for P2-5s and meets on a Friday at 12:45-1:30pm in the middle hall. For more details or if you wish to attend the choir please contact Morven Wraight on 07834556783.

Netball

Towerbank Afterschool Netball Club was established in August 2018 aimed at introducing the sport to P4 and P5 girls. It is delivered by two parent volunteers and a teacher and operates as a subgroup of TPG.

Called Towerbank Tigers, the netball club runs every Tuesday from 3.20-4.30pm in the Gym Hall with some of the sessions taking place outside, in the better weather.

The sessions focus on developing basic netball skills and knowledge of the game as well as reinforcing the communication, cooperation and decision making needed for a team sport. Friendly fixtures against other primary school teams are arranged each term.

The cost per session is £3.50.

There are no spaces in the club and there is currently a waiting list. If you would like more information or want to join the waiting list, please email admin@towerbank.edin.sch.uk who will pass on your enquiry.

Towerbank Cricket Team

Towerbank Cricket team is delivered by a parent via the Active Schools programme https://www.joininedinburgh.org/venue/371/. The cricket team is for children in P2 – P5. The children meet weekly and have the opportunity to play matches against other local schools.

Active Schools

Active Schools is a sportscotland supported initiative which provides a network of coordinators dedicated to developing and supporting the delivery of sporting opportunities for children and young people in their area.

A Parentmail is sent out near the start of each term with information and booking details of Active Schools activities available.
